Polk Bush guard rail
This public arts finalist metal guard rail for Bush Polk parking garage was designed using an old art deco technique of overlaying lines on the predesigned facade and connecting curvilinear the repeating facade elements separately. The windows, the large openings and the other matching elements. Upon analysis of the curves, this pattern came out. Then the color of dark copper and silver make the rail change appearance depending on the time of day and sun angles. The other need was no opening greater than 4 inches under 3'-6"
